SPACES STILL REMAIN FOR BACHELOR OF SOCIAL WORK YEAR-3 ENTRY PROGRAMMES
The Bachelor of Social Work Year-3 entry Full-time programme for 2024-25 and the Bachelor of Social Work Year-3 entry Part-time programme for 2024-25 (starting in September) still has a few places of study remaining.
Applications are still open as of the writing of this post.
Bachelor of Social Work Year-3 entry Full-time programme Curriculum Features:
(I) The programme comprises six semesters over two years, totaling 63 credits. The two practicum sessions are arranged in the third semester (April to August) in each academic year.
(ii) Students have to take four subjects per semester in Semesters One and Two. Classes will be held on Monday (whole day) and some evenings.
(iii) Holders of a Social Work Associate’s degree or a Higher Diploma in Social Work are eligible to apply, without any work experience requirements.
(iv) Students with no prior Bachelor’s degree can apply for the NMTSS if they are eligible.
Bachelor of Social Work Year-3 entry Part-time programme Curriculum Features:
(i) The programme comprises eight semesters over three years (Year 3 –Year 5), totaling 63 credits. One practicum is arranged in the second and third semester (January to June) in Year 4.
(ii) Students have to take three subjects per semester. Classes will be held on weekday evenings.
(iii) At least 3 years of direct social work practice experience as a Registered Social Worker after obtaining Social Work Associate’s Degree or a Higher Diploma in Social Work are eligible to apply.
