SCHOLARSHIP AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE SCHEMES
(A)College Scholarship Scheme
The Scholarship Scheme is established to encourage and recognize students for their accomplishment in academic and non-academic areas. The Scholarship Scheme comprises five categories of awards, including one based on academic merit, three based on achievements in student service and one covering outstanding performance in both areas.
- Best in Academic Performance
- Best in Community Service
- Best in In-house Service Programme
- Special In-house Service Award
- Gratia Scholarship

There are also other Scholarship Schemes supported by outside parties, such as the PAOC
Spiritual Leadership Scholarship and the Centaline Gratia Scholarship. The College will
announce the details to students in due course accordingly.
(B) Self-financing Post-Secondary Scholarship Scheme (SPSS)
To promote the development of the self-financing post-secondary sector, the Self-financing Post-secondary Scholarship Scheme is set up under the Self-financing Post-secondary Education Fund to offer scholarships and awards to students pursuing full-time locally-accredited self-financing sub-degree or bachelor’s degree (including top-up degree) programmes at non-profit-making education institutions.
There are five types of scholarships established under the Scheme, namely:

- Talent Development Scholarship
- Reaching Out Award
- Endeavour Scholarship

Financial Assistance Schemes
GCC Students can apply for the financial assistance schemes provided by the Working Family and Student Financial Assistance Agency (WFSFAA).
Starting from Academic Year 2017/18, all eligible students must submit their applications for Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) and Non-means-tested Loan Scheme for Post-secondary Students (NLSPS) to the Student Finance Office (SFO) through E-link.
- Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP)
FASP provides means-tested financial assistance to needy full-time students pursuing locally-accredited, self-financing post-secondary education programmes at the level of associate degree, higher diploma or degree. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to needy students so that no eligible students will be denied access to post-secondary education because of lack of means.
Eligibility: Students studying Degrees and Higher Diploma programmes
- Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (NLSPS)
The NLSPS is used to complement the Financial Assistance Scheme for Post-secondary Students (FASP) to provide loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of locally-accredited, self-financing full-time post-secondary education programmes at the level of associate degree, higher diploma or degree.
Eligibility: Students studying Degrees and Higher Diploma programmes
- Extended Non-Means-Tested Loan Scheme (ENLS)
As for students studying the Diploma in Pre-University Studies, they may apply for the Extended Non-Means-Tested Loan Scheme(ENLS).
The Extended Non-means-tested Loan Scheme (ENLS) provides financial assistance in the form of loan(s) to eligible students to settle tuition fees of specific post-secondary / continuing and professional education courses studied in Hong Kong.
Eligibility: Students studying Diploma programmes
- Student Travel Subsidy (STS)
The Student Travel Subsidy (STS) for Tertiary or Post-secondary Students provides travel subsidy to needy students attending a full-time day course up to first degree level in an acceptable institution, residing beyond 10 minutes walking distance from school and required to use public transport for travelling to school.
